It can be used in the treatment of hair loss in women with antiandrogen therapies in patients with high androgen or associated clinical findings.

Hair Transplant

It is less preferred in women than men. The hair density on the back of the head called donor should be good.

Autologous micrograft method

It is the process of separating the 2 mm hair grafts taken from the scalp into micro pieces with a special method and giving them back to the skin as suspension. Its effect begins to be seen 2-3 months after the procedure. It is sufficient to do it as a single session.

Microneedling

It is made by stimulating the scalp that has been exposed to hair loss at a depth of 1-2 mm depending on the thickness. An average of 4-6 sessions are required.

Mesotherapy

It includes the injection of minoxidil and DHT blockers. Usually, added vitamins and other ingredients are useless. Minoxidil and DHT blockers can also be given with lokla home applications. Injection of mesotherapy may be risky in terms of triggering various skin diseases. Unfortunately, publications showing that mesotherapy is effective and safe in hair loss are not sufficient.

PRP

It involves the re-injection of the factors accumulated from the patient’s blood into the scalp. A standard was not established on the frequency of administration and the amount of factors in the prepared suspension. More scientific studies are needed. It can be considered as a treatment alternative in selected patients.
